Changing Location

You can access your Geo pools to change your location via the Location menu in the Passages Dashboard. Select the Passages Toolbar Button in the browser window to open the Passages Dashboard. On the Dashboard, select the Location menu.



This will allow you to view all of your available Geo pools. Your currently active Geo pool will be highlighted in blue and feature a white pin on its icon to let you know it's your current location. Select a Geo pool that is inactive that you would like to switch to.



A box will appear with the header Confirm Restart. This is to confirm your choice for location change. It will ask, “Create new secure browser session from selected location?” Select Continue if you wish to continue and Cancel if you wish to cancel the location change.



A new window will open with the message “Please wait. Restarting Browser.” The browser window will then close briefly before opening again on your home page. Each time you change location, Passages destroys your former session and builds a fresh one that will egress from your selected Geo pool. You can read more about this process here.



When the new browser reopens, your Geo pool location will be pinpointed on the map and displayed in the top right-hand corner beside the Passages Toolbar Icon.
